The 2024 Warrior's Society Christmas Tree Ride

We couldn't have asked for a better day for the Christmas Tree Ride! It turned out to be in the 70's with a clear beautiful view of the San Gabriel Mountains, the San Bernardino Mountains and the top of Catalina Island!

The Beeks' Place cabin was a wonderful staging ground for our breakfast of burritos, danishes and Bloody Mary's. We look forward to hosting a Counting Coup and Vision Quest pre-ride taco fest there in April before the Saturday, May 3rd events.

We had the pleasure of having Chuck Beeks join in the festivities. Warrior's Society Co-Executive Director Keith "Leads With Quiet Voice" Parsons sent a thank you to Chuck Beeks and got this nice response:

"Keith, you have a great group of followers and friends. We are delighted to have nice people come up and enjoy the place. I wish I could remember all the names!
Yours, Chuck"

It was great to see club founding member and Chief Keith "Keeps His Word" Eckstein's girlfriend Sharon on the ride after knee replacement surgery.

Decoration's brought by riders were used to decorate the Warrior's Society Christmas tree at Beeks' Place (If you'd liked to join him, Keith "Leads With Quiet Voice" Parsons will be pedaling up to "undecorate" the tree on January 4, with a 9:30 roll time from Peltzer Pines).

We had a great breakfast cooked by club cook Lubos "Magic Cloud" Durdovic giving members a choice of carne asada, bacon and chorizo egg burritos preceded by danishes and finished off with Bloody Mary's. We had a club meeting to discuss club issues and the 2025 Vision Quest and Counting Coup.

We still have the Saturday, May 3rd 2025 Counting Coup and Vision Quest events left on our May to May club yearly event schedule.

We will be having a Vision Quest and Counting Coup pre-ride and taco cookout at Beeks at a date yet to be set in April (Associate members give us feedback on any dates that won't work for you in April) and will be discussing the dates of our August 2025 Beach Ride/taco cookout, the October Toad Festival poker ride/taco fest, the December Christmas tree ride/beakfast and the May 2026 Vision Quest and Counting Coup.

Our club members are evaluating the route for our 2025 Vision Quest and Counting Coup events since we will be limited to using the forest North of Maple Springs (Silverado) Darshan "Sings Spirit Songs" Ahluwalia is evaluating single tracks in the area to include in the route. All members will decide and vote on the final route of both the 2025 Counting Coup and Vision Quest.

All existing Associate members will have first choice to renew their memberships when renewal comes in May 2025. We currently have 37 Associate members and plan on limiting Associate membership to 50 leaving (us with 13 Associate member spots remaining).

If you know of anyone interested in Associate membership have them email us.
