Saturday, April 16
Casper’s Wilderness Park Adventure Day
10AM to 3PM
Need help staffing our information table, especially morning shift.
Debra has a cleanup project at Ortega Falls and needs help at Casper’s from 9:30 to 1PM. Mary Thomas, our biologist will be there 9:30 to 3PM.
Sunday, April 17
Earth Day at Upper Newport Bay
10AM to 4PM
Need help staffing our information table.
Event is held at the Muth Interpretive Center on the west side of Upper Newport Bay.
Mary Thomas, our biologist will be there 9:30 to 4PM.
Saturday, May 7
Maple Springs Trash Clean-up
8:30AM – Meet at Maple Springs Visitor Center
Seeking volunteers to help cleanup trash along Maple Springs Road especially at one location where much trash has been dumped over the side.
If Maple Springs still closed we will work behind the locked gate, If the road open we will need to provide traffic control.
Will bring a stakeside truck to load all debris cleaned up.
