TRAILS4ALL’S TIN MINE TRAIL WORK THIS SATURDAY, JUNE 2ND.
Trails4All’s “Partnerships4Trails” program with the International Baccalaureate students from the Letha Raney Intermediate School, partnered with the Trabuco Ranger District of the Cleveland National Forest in Corona, CA, will be hosting our fourth annual NTD event at Tin Mine Canyon on Saturday June 2, 2012.
Combining community service, service learning and just plain fun, the event will include: trail building and maintenance; habitat restoration (mostly removal of non-natives); graffiti removal from trail head and from rock faces deep into Canyon; and interpretative hikes/walks on a variety of topics. There will be plenty of water (please bring your own container) and light snacks.
Scouts (boys OR girls) looking for projects, please contact us ahead of time… There’s plenty to do!
